Though pregnancy is a pivotal event in life, it is also politically dangerous for some women to talk about. That’s why we made this field optional.

You’ve tracked your period. Now track the rest.

Most female tracking apps focus on cycles. Ours tracks the rest — pain, fatigue, mood, memory, and the symptoms no one else studies. Built by women, for women, backed by science.

Why Use Astra

  • Learn About Your Body

Astra remembers you had a headache last week and three weeks ago — and the factors that may have played a role. Over time, she’ll advise you to help improve your health. She’ll even provide a clincian readout (rather than a vague chart) to help you communicate with your doctor.

  • Meaningful Impact

Your life improves while you contribute to research. Your responses are pooled with those of women around the world to teach researches exactly what it’s like to be a woman. Let’s address long-ignored gaps in women’s non-reproductive health together.

  • Data Privacy

We use cryptography at every stage. All responses are anonymized to protect your identity and you can request to remove your data at any time (even ten years from now).

I was amazed by the depth of ethnic coverage the app provides. Feminine health is not only largely ignored, it’s not approached by sensitive genetic markers that can create vital clues for progress in non-reproductive health in regards to disease, sensitivities, etc. The geographical data will be an invaluable tool in forecasting and finding trends, no doubt leading Asterisk to continue to grow as leader and force for change for feminine health.
